Pinery Fire in SA - Recovery of Agricultural Land

In late November 2015, a large bushfire destroyed more than 80,000ha of prime agricultural land to the North of Adelaide.

ARA is using its airborne capabilities to assist in the recovery process.

In a first mssion on 17 Dec, series of high resolution aerial photos were taken of parts of the area.

Much more data will be collected from a variety of sensors, including (hyper)spectral and LiDAR.

Most of this data will be available to the affected community and relevant agencies.

Click here to download the Google Earth index file of all aerial images.

Load it into Google Earth and click on the placemark to see a small version of each photograph.
